It is a pleasure to serve the Foundation as your President.

We are pleased that you participated in our accomplishments this past year in support of our $10M goal for The Concordia Hip & Knee Institute.  With our community, provincial and federal support, we can reach this goal.

Concordia has embarked on a new project for 2010 – “Better Health for Our Community – A Community Clinic Project” to enhance outpatient services on the Concordia Hospital Campus.  

This Community Clinic Project will make use of and expand upon Concordia’s existing footprint.  Family Medicine practitioners will provide essential health services to improve access to primary care.

Community members will enjoy enhanced outpatient services, and will benefit from a streamlined health information system and pre-admission processes for same-day surgery and respiratory services. The proximity of Family Medicine to Emergency will assist with expedient referrals to further reduce wait times.

Commercial space will also be available to house like-minded businesses and services.
