Diagnostic Imaging
There is a charge of $6 per film plus a $35 Administration fee.

Health Information Services
There is a cost for the release of various pieces of patient information. Invoices are prepared by the Health Information Services department and payment is to be made at Switchboard. Detailed rate information is available from the Health Information Services department.

TV & Phone services
Patients must prepay Hospitality Network directly for TV and Phone services (cash, cheque, Visa or MasterCard are accepted).

Hair Care
Services are provided at Concordia Place. Payment in the form of cash, cheque, Visa or MasterCard is accepted. The payment is left with the request form and is deposited after the service has been provided. 

Please Note: Any questions concerning hospital finances should be forwarded to the Concordia Hospital Business Office.

Out of Province Patients
Patients must have their provincial health care cards available at the time of admission for either Emergency or Inpatient care. No payment is required if the provincial health care card is presented. If the patient does not have proof of coverage for his/her home province, payment is required.

Out of Country Patients (Costs covered by an insurance provider)
Care must be pre-approved by insurer. Upon admission, an approval number along with a copy of the health care policy and insurer mailing information must be provided to the admitting clerk.

Self-Pay Patients
Emergent care must be pre-paid at switchboard. Admitting clerks are not to admit without proof of payment.

Inpatient care must be pre-paid at a rate equivalent to 3 days stay. Patients are to report to the Finance department upon discharge where either a refund or additional charges will be applied depending on length of stay.

Forms of Payment accepted
The hospital accepts cash (ATM machine available in the front lobby), cheques, Interac, Visa and MasterCard.
