Pre & Post Operative Instructions

Pre-Operative Assessment Clinic
The reason you come to the Pre-Operative Assessment Clinic is to help you get ready for surgery. We want to make your surgery as comfortable, easy and safe as possible.
- Very Important:
- Do not take any asprine or asprine containing products for a period of at least 10 days prior to the date of your surgery.
- If you become ill close to your surgery date, eg. cold, flu, etc - contact your doctor as soon as possible.
- You must report to the Concordia Hospital Admitting Office at least 2 hours before your scheduled surgery time.
These basic instructions are written to help you understand before and after sugery routines. A nurse will discuss your specific surgery with you, and you will be asked to sign a consent form.
