Preferred Accomodations

People living in Manitoba with valid Manitoba Health cards are covered by Manitoba Health and receive standard unit accommodation.  Please inform nursing staff or the admitting department if you would like to upgrade your room to a private (1 patient in a room) or semi-private room (2 patients in a room). Additional charges apply for private or semi-private accommodations.

We may not be able to accommodate your request for a private or semi-private room upon admission, however we will make every effort to transfer you to your preferred accommodation as soon as possible.

If you have additional coverage with an insurance company for semi-private or private accommodation we will need your policy number and group number upon admission.
