Welcome to Concordia Village

Concordia Village is a non-profit assisted living housing facility for seniors. It is owned and operated by Concordia Wellness Projects Inc., (CWPI), a non-profit registered charitable organization associated with Concordia Hospital.

Concordia Village is an integral part of Concordia's long term plan to better serve the health and wellness and housing needs of residents living in north-east Winnipeg.

Concordia Village presently consists of 197 one and two bedroom living units in two buildings:

  • Phase 1 - 1125 Molson Street
  • Phase 2 - 1115 Molson Street

Phases 3 and 4 are planned for the future.

In addition to fully equipped and spacious living units, residents of Concordia Village receive services such as meals, light housekeeping and planned activities - all as part of an overall strategy to support and enhance independent and healthy living.

Concordia Village is located in close proximity to Concordia Hospital. The location is close to a variety of commercial services and public transportation with easy access to Winnipeg's growing east-end commercial centre at Lagimodiere Blvd. and Regent Ave. Covered drop off/pick-up areas are available at both main entrances to welcome visitors and residents.

Entering each building brings you into a large beautifully appointed lobby with a fireplace and ample seating areas. Adjacent to the front lobby is a multi-purpose room for activities and a private dining room for residents and their families to use on special occasions. Also located on the main floor of each building is a spacious and elegant central dining room with a continental breakfast available each day, and supper meal prepared by our own chefs and served each day by friendly and courteous staff. Residents also have access to a fully equipped games/exercise rooms, on-site hair dressing salon and banking. Two private guest suites for out of town visitors. Numerous sitting lounges throughout the buildings offering residents a quiet place for reading or talking with neighbors. For those living on upper floors the buildings have two elevators - making getting around very easy.

Concordia Village features spacious one and two bedroom apartment units with kitchens, ample storage and private balconies. Units are fully accessible for those with special mobility needs. Residents also have full control over heating and air conditioning in their suites. Many suites come with walk in shower stalls and in-suite laundry. Front door security with system CCTV connected to each living unit. Plenty of parking for residents and guests.

Professionally landscaped park-like grounds with walking paths. Concordia Village is also a non-smoking building and has a no pet policy.

Affordability is also a focus for Concordia Village. Rent includes amenities such as continental breakfast and supper meal, weekly housekeeping, daily garbage collection, utilities, on-site building administration and maintenance, and a personal security device provided by Victoria Life Line (included in monthly charge for residents in Phase 2 - 1115 Molson building, and available for additional charge for residents in Phase 1- 1125 Molson building).
